There are no sports worth watching, baseball is an ancient time waster that to me is worthless...and according to statistics, many Americans feel the same way. basketball? don't care
NASCAR? well, while I watch it from time to time that's really just to mitigate the boredom and have something in the background to hear.
march 15, 2011- University of South Carolina Gamecocks spring football practice starts. I enjoy this time because our early enrollees get an opportunity to practice with the team in organized drills.
April 9, 2011- The Annual Garnet & Black Game. I love this thing...its a glorified practice but its FOOTBALL-ish...its more of a spectacle but due to the recent events in the Carolina football world I feel this one may be more interesting than G&Bs past.
I like the G&B game because I can get together with my SC friends and enjoy a, usually, nice day in Columbia. I've been to every G&B game since 2005, I think, and will continue this annual tradition of escaping Augusta during Master's Week weekend.
I'm at a loss for words bc, as I said...its a dead period
